I started this blog to bring others along on my journey, and maybe we could teach each other a thing or two. When I was 9, my feet started to hurt, and they never stopped. I was diagnosed with Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy in that same year, and just recently a doctor told me that I had received an incorrect diagnosis. I’ve been in a wheelchair, hospitals, and in some very dark places in my fight to be healthy. I don’t know much, but what I have learned from all of this, I’d like to share with you! So come along with on this journey with me, and we will figure out how to live with the cards we’ve been dealt together!
So now that I’ve told you about that, here’s a little more about me! My name is Katie, and I am a 21-year old college student. I attend the best university in the nation, in my opinion: Florida State! I’m a proud, life-long Seminole, and I’m studying psychology. Soon, I’ll graduate and go into the real-world…. Scary! I’m absolutely obsessed with my dog, Champ. He’s a mutt, and we adopted him from the Humane Society. To say he’s special would be the understatement of the century! I have a wonderful boyfriend, TJ, whom I’ve been with since I was 16. I have a great family and great friends. I really love to exercise, cook, play with my dog, and make the people I love very happy!
